Rules (subject to change):

• All contestants must be 16 or over by the day of the event. Contestants under 18 must fill out a parental consent form.

 

• The maximum number of contestants per group will be no more than 3.

 

• All contestants must be available to perform at VietFest, on Saturday, August 20, 2023 at 2:00pm at the Plaza @ Tysons Corner Center, 1961 Chain Bridge Rd, McLean, VA 22102.

 

• All contestants from the audition video must be present at the performance.

 

• Performances may be no longer than 5 minutes.

 

• All contestants are responsible for providing their own music, instruments, props, etc. for their performances.

 

• Contestants will audition through video submission which can be no longer than 5 minutes.

 

• Deadline: August 10 at 12:00pm NOON.

 

• All performances must be family-friendly. This includes, but is not limited to, performances with sexual context, inappropriate language or profanity, and religious offense.

 

• VietFest reserves the right to refuse performances for disorderly conduct that we feel is unacceptable or against the theme of unity, creativity, and celebration to the Vietnamese community. If your performance changes drastically during dress rehearsal, we reserve the right to remove your performance.

 

• By applying for this event, contestants agree to transfer all copyrights of their videos to VietFest.

 

• Other rules and regulations will apply.
